According to a recent article here by Engadget, AppleCare for the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X will now have a higher price tag than the previous iPhones. AppleCare for the 8 Plus will now cost $149 (previously $129) and get ready... AppleCare for the iPhone X will cost a steep $199.
These prices are just the warranty and do not include the individual prices of the repair itself.
