Eric Boles

Senior Industrial Designer specializing in transforming ideas into manufacturable products.

About

I've always been fascinated by understanding how things work—and finding better ways to design them.

Throughout my career, I've worked across the semiconductor, medical, and consumer electronics industries, developing products from early concepts through engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, and production. Whether designing semiconductor equipment, refining medical devices, or evolving consumer products over multiple generations, I enjoy solving complex problems where creativity and engineering intersect.

The best products are created through collaboration, curiosity, and continuous refinement. Physical prototyping, hands-on experimentation, and close partnerships with engineers and manufacturers have always been central to my design process, helping transform ideas into practical, manufacturable products.

Over the years, my role has expanded beyond industrial design into product development, allowing me to contribute to tooling, materials, manufacturing processes, packaging, and product refinement. I enjoy seeing projects through every stage of development and believe the strongest products come from balancing user needs, engineering requirements, and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Whether I'm developing a new product or refining an existing one, I enjoy building prototypes, working with my hands, and solving the practical challenges that turn ideas into products people can use with confidence.

Design Philosophy  :  Designed. Built. Delivered.

I believe the strongest products come from balancing creativity, engineering, manufacturability, and craftsmanship. Every project is an opportunity to solve real problems, refine every detail, and create products that perform reliably in the real world.
